We're all so busy, that it's difficult to draw breath and take the time to reflect on our achievements. IPANZ believes that to encourage excellence, it's critical to celebrate success. We are all in the public sector to make a difference, and it's appropriate that we recognise our "stars". NEWS Youth Gangs Project Wins Top Award The winners of the inaugural IPANZ Gen-i Public Sector Excellence Awards were announced Tuesday 27 May, at Te Papa. Ministry of Social Development received the Prime Minister's Award for Public Sector Excellence for their work on youth gangs and improving outcomes for young people in Counties Manukau. Awards Evening @ Te Papa It's not often the public sector has the opportunity to celebrate their successes, but that's exactly what Tuesday 27 May 2008 is about. On the night there can only be one winner for each category and from them one superstar  will win the Prime Minister's Award for Public Sector Excellence for 2008.
