We're all so busy, that it's difficult to draw breath and take the time to reflect on our achievements. IPANZ believes that to encourage excellence, it's critical to celebrate success. We are all in the public sector to make a difference, and it's appropriate that we recognise our "stars". NEWS 2009 Winners Announced A New Zealand Police and Porirua City Council project to make Porirua a safer community has received the top award at this year's IPANZ Gen-i Public Sector Excellence Awards. The 'Safer Porirua' project won the category for excellence in working together for better services, as well as the supreme award, called the Prime Minister's Award.
